The Integrative Approach
As a certified Equinology, INC., bodyworker, Madeline combines the massage modalities learned through her education with her own holistic approach which aims to view the horse through all of its interconnected parts.
What We Do
The Equinology approach that Madeline utilizes is a "unique hands-on system [that] addresses the whole body, implementing specific manual palpation methods to assess soft tissue and symmetry of muscle and structure, all while utilizing detailed static and dynamic evaluations." (Equinenergy.com).
Additionally, Madeline gathers detailed information on each horse's lifestyle, work demands, nutrition, history, etc., which provides a whole-body approach to her work.
How We Do It
Various bodywork techniques are utilized throughout every session including sports massage, soft-tissue mobilization, stretching, ROM & activation exercises. Focal point work (stress & trigger points) is also incorporated to provide optimal support for horses of all disciplines & backgrounds.
